Megan McCraw, LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Worlds Edge Wellness

Hello, I'm Megan

Welcome to Worlds Edge Wellness. I'm so glad you're here. Taking the step to explore therapy shows courage and self-awareness.

I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, understood, and genuinely comfortable being yourself. My goal is to create a warm, relaxed, and supportive space—one where you can slow down, take a breath, and show up as you are. I'm attentive and engaged, while also making room for humor, lightness, and the natural flow of conversation. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is central to my approach, because meaningful change happens when you feel secure enough to be open and vulnerable.

I work with adults navigating relationship challenges and life transitions, helping them understand attachment patterns and develop tools for emotional and nervous system regulation. My approach is trauma-informed and integrative, blending attachment-based therapy with mind-body practices. Drawing from my experience as a veteran and my training as a yoga teacher, I incorporate grounding and regulation techniques to support connection, resilience, and self-trust.

Professional Experience

Professional Experience

I have several years of experience in community mental health, providing outpatient individual and group counseling, as well as supporting clients in higher-acuity settings. My background includes work on assertive community treatment teams serving individuals living with serious and persistent mental illness. Across these environments, I've developed a steady, compassionate approach to crisis support and have found purpose in offering grounded care during moments of significant distress.

This experience informs my current private practice, where I focus on building trusting relationships and helping clients navigate life transitions, improve relationships, and strengthen resilience.

A Little More About Me

When I'm not working, you'll often find me outdoors or moving my body in ways that feel grounding rather than goal-oriented. Yoga, hiking, mountain biking, and running are all ways I stay connected and present. I value movement as a key part of mental health—it helps me stay centered and balanced. I also enjoy laughter, comedians, and good food shared with others. These interests shape how I show up in sessions—with warmth, ease, and a belief that growth doesn't have to be rigid or heavy.
